It's sad that so many posts were lost, but it's no big deal, life must go on
Here are some new observations from this month:
2007/08/02
Flew on UN858, green plane:
A319 VP-BTN Sibir SBI900 EDDF-UUDD
Flew on UM996, practically the only flight I observe to use this airway
B737-400 UR-VVL Aerosvit AEW216 ESSA-UKBB
2007/08/03
Flew on UM870, very rare, Arkia flies to Stockholm only 1x per week and only in summer season. There is something written on the belly, but I can't read it off, too little zoom

Asdrius J'm fond of B747 Air Bridge Cargo since I've seen him 8 days ago first time in life. Last day during stay at the Baltic seaside and 50 minutes before return to home that plane made surprise 10 days still waiting for plane has brought profit.

Hello,
My trip to Wales was very successful for contrailspotting, nearly everyday had clear skies and there were plenty of contrails. I stayed near the Brecon VOR (BCN) which surrounds airways UL9, UN14, UN38, UN864, UL180, and UN862.
Here is an airspace map of the location, as you can see the skies were a lot busier on holiday than at home!:

Now onto the telescope pictures. I'll try to add as much info as I can but it was difficult to identify most flight numbers and what airway they were on.

ContrailsUK - now I see what heat radiation can do For me it's not a big problem yet, my equipment is not powerful enough for radiation to make a difference
Made some shots on wednesday evening. On other days weather was also clear, but no contrails on planes
2007/08/15
Another summer highlight for me - Astraeus 757. Rare 1x weekly flight , late in the evening, only on summer visible in daylight. I have been trying to catch it whole summer
