Yes, it is a similar situation for me, at the moment I have a lot of westbound traffic on the Southside airway (UN20), and little amount of eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic is not as good for me as aircraft fly in front of the sun at this time of year, so I rarely taken pictures. Eastbound traffic routing via the northside airway (UM140) makes better pictures with the sun shining on them.Asdrius pisze:ContrailsUK but it's nice thing that espacially long range flight routing is not constant, they always change. Keeps contrail spotting not so boring.
For me when winds at high altitude are favorouble I see lot of eastbound long-range flights from europe to asia, but when winds change all eastbound flights dissappear, but westbound flights returning from Asia appear. So I never lose, I always get either eastbound or westbound long range traffic above me Of course I would like to have both at the same time.
I guess it is similar situation for you with north atlantic long range traffic.
