On Saturday over Vilnius I saw unusually large number of big airplanes flying from North America to Middle East on UM870 airway. But atmospheric conditions were horrible. Lots of haze, visibility 5-7km. I could see contrailing airplanes only for 1-2 minutes when they were almost above me. Still I tried to get some pictures:

Unexpectedly I saw IL-76 . They are getting rare these days. It flew on easterly heading, entered Lithuania from Poland on BOKSU waypoint. Anyone saw it over Poland?

This is propably the first picture of A380 Malaysia Airlines at this forum.
Taken last week (14 march) at Saanen in Switzerland. He was flying a test flight over the Alps from Touluse in direction of Zurich.

This week very bad weather over Lithuania, with no good forecasts for the weekend as well.
