On the bank holiday weekend 3-5 May, vader and I traveled on the euro-tunnel to North-East France near Dunkirk, to catch some exotic airliners departing LHR to the eastern regions. The position was under a very busy UL607 airway, with almost a constant stream of traffic heading east. Even though the weather forecast was good for most of the weekend we had to battle against high cirrus cloud and poor air conditions/heatwaves during the middle part of the day, and lost a few photos. The evening time was the best for conditions and some stunning movements could be seen. Here are some pictures from the first day, more pics to follow.
