Yesterday late evening on swedish radar I saw a B747 crusing on UN858 at FL430
:
It must have been an empty flight, because I have never seen a 747's flying so high.
Although, 747-400 is certified up to FL450, the highest cruising 747 I saw before was only FL400.

Hi,
2 photos from Saturday. It seems my photo quality has decreased for some reason, maybe due to the weather, but hopefully not my equipment.
Both aircraft unusual for me.

Well I hope nothing too serious
ContrailsUK, I actually don't see any decrease in quality on your last 2 photos. Amazing as always
Today I had some sunshine and caught something:
on UN858
A320
G-MIDO British Midland BMA891 EGLL-UUDD
Why do British Midland paint the bottom of rear stabilizers in red?

Hmm never thought about that before. I guess just for show, but its nice to see. I once spotted a BMI contrailing overhead London with the naked eye because they stand out so well.
Anyway about the equipment, I wonder if its got anything to do with the RAW format
Because I switched from JPG to RAW this weekend.
