Hello, I am wondering how you guys manage to sharpen so well your photos? When I sharpen my photos, they come out very smudged (especially the registrations).
I use Sharpen Ai and Photo AI and shoot usually at ISO 400.
Any help will be appreciated!

Hi Avera,
Problem with your photos could be that you use very cheap barlow which quality is not good. At first, try to take some photos without it. Also please check your collimation. BTW your photos are not bad though, and don't be shy to upload them ;)
PS. I use an old version of NeatImage.

@vader
Everything is collimated, and I use a good eyepiece. I've managed to mark where the "perfect focus" is on the dobby, and the photos are in "perfect focus", but when It comes to sharpening, the detail, which are focused come out as very smudgy after sharpening. They look like wet paint after the process and I want to fix that issue. Here is an example photo of the issue:

Hi,
At the beginning, make sure that the collimation of the telescope is correct already at the stage of taking pictures, they are quite sharp. Image processing to an additional step where we sharpen additional elements. Probably most of us use first de-noise via NeatImage or the AI-based Topaz DeNoise AI and then sharpen directly via the built-in functions in PhotoShop or the mentioned Topaz, more precisely Sharpen AI. There are many tutorials on the web on YT on how to do this, or even on the Topaz website.
Try it yourself and let us know how it worked out for you :)
ps. Show us an example of an image you would like to process.
