Hi,
<br><br>
Sorry that I have not been able to post my pictures for a while. I am having problems with my telescope at the moment <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif" alt="Crying or Very sad" border="0"><br><br>
I have only been able to capture one photo recently which is this Martinair MD-11:
<br><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/209/4481 ... d929_b.jpg" border="0"><br>
The weather has been quite good recently, but visibility is poor and the conditions arent good for taking photos.
<br>
I have been looking at the pictures in the polish forums, and I have noticed grztus is producing fantastic photos! You seem to have somehow made your pictures larger? as you can even see the windows. Well Done!! <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" border="0"><br>_________________<br>ContrailsUK

Nice MD-11 <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" border="0"><br>
We have the same problem with poor visibility in Poland too.
<br><br>
Thai's pictures have been taken with Soligor Barlow x2. In Polish section I'm marking photos taken with Barlow by: *
<br><a href="http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h216/ ... 8708v2.jpg" target="_blank" class="postlink"><img src="http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h216/ ... 8708v2.jpg" border="0"></a>
<br><br>
I'm really glad from this Soligor, it's not giving an abberration and photos are very sharp (I didn't expect that quality will be so good).<br>_________________<br>Grzegorz Tuszyński

<img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif" alt="Shocked" border="0"> That is the best pic I have seen taken through a telescope
<br>
The current weather situation looks like this where I live at the moment:
<br><a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1735" target="_blank">http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1735</a>
<br>
So I have nice clear skies. My telescope seems to produce "double vision" results, and I can no longer focus the telescope to its full potential. I think it may be broken <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif" alt="Sad" border="0"><br>_________________<br>ContrailsUK

Don't worry, try to clear both mirrors and collimate it (maybe your scope have lost the collimation between primary and secondary mirror). If you have in Britain some astronautical forum, ask there for collimation tips (if you don't know how to do it).
<br>
I hope it will help you <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0"><br>_________________<br>Grzegorz Tuszyński

Correction - Astronomical <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0"><img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0"><br>
Good idea, I will try to find some help on a forum. If that doesnt work I will get someone to correct it for me. If he says its broken then I will have to get a new one <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif" alt="Sad" border="0"><br>_________________<br>ContrailsUK

Even though the barlow lens gives you more magnifiation, isnt it hard to get a still image?
<br>
As you are so close to the plane now I thought it would make it harder to capture the whole plane in the field of view.<br>_________________<br>ContrailsUK

Of course it's quite harder to get the photo with barlow lens, planes like B747 or A340 flying in zenit are to big for the field of view <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0"><br>
But when they are flying in some distance (more than 15km) I can take really amazing photos like Thai <img src="http://picsrv.fora.pl/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif" alt="Wink" border="0"><br><br>
It's also harder to get a still image, not becouse of exposure parameters (higher ISO), but due to handshakes and small leeways in the Synta scope construction (leeways are small enought to take photos at 1900mm, but they are comes to my notice with barlow at 3800mm).<br>_________________<br>Grzegorz Tuszyński
